Chequered Flag International is pleased to offer this 1975 Mercedes 450 SL in Metallic Blue with Dark Blue interior and top. Interesting note that this SL was never registered and was wholesaled by Europa Auto Imports in San Diego to Dick Johnson and Associates, a well known car dealer and collector in Seattle, Washington. It has been kept in their collection since 1975 until just now and was always held on its statement of origin. The next buyer will be first registered owner (if he / she registers it). 20,646 miles from new - driven only on a dealer plate. The original paint is perfect with the exception of a mark on the top of the passenger side rear quarter (shown). Perfect, time-capsule interior. No wear on the seats, marks on the carpets, or cracks in the dash. Perfect original blue soft top with clear windows - really remarkable. Mechanically excellent. Serviced over the years and recently had an A/C service, which blows cold. Revs and drives incredibly well. Not much in the way of books and records. The previous 'owner' is now in his 80's and couldn't find the full books. This must be one of, if not, the best original 450 SL in existence. Inspections are welcomed.
